【Product Introduction】
Natural tissues and organs have direct cell-cell and cell-matrix contacts and exhibit 3D structures. In contrast, traditional 2D cell culture methods are unable to simulate the in vivo environment. Therefore, 3D culture techniques are increasingly being used in basic research to obtain cellular states that more closely resemble those in vivo.
The cell spheres is one of the most common 3D cell culture systems. Cell spheres can be generated from one type of cells, or different types of cells can be combined in co-culture. The cell spheres has a cellular microenvironment closer to that of the body and a more exuberant state of cellular secretion. The technology has been applied in a number of research areas such as tumour modelling, drug screening, angiogenesis, organoid, tissue regeneration and 3D printing.
SpheroX™ 96Ukit cell sphere culture 96U well plate kit is an ultra-low adhesion well plate introduced by the EFL team specifically for cell sphere 3D culture. This product uses nano-encapsulation technology to form an ultra-thin hydrophilic coating on the surface of the plate, which prevents cells from growing against the wall, and with the U-shaped bottom structure, cells can gradually aggregate into spheres.
SpheroX™ 96Ukit well plates can be used to generate uniformly sized cell spheres in bulk for a wide range of applications in tumor research, drug screening, organoid construction and tissue engineering.
